107: Scenario Generation and Evaluation of Urban Parameters In Brazil Through Visual Programming
The present study aims to develop a computational tool based on visual programming with scenario simulations grounded in urban planning parameters defined in the Land Use and Occupation Law of the city of Fortaleza, located in Brazil. Evaluation metrics based on the Space Matrix study are also incorporated to extract indicators from the built reality and the scenario generated by the algorithm, enabling a comparative analysis between the two realities. A City Information Modeling (CIM) framework is used to integrate databases based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and algorithmic modelers for the exchange of information produced for different platforms. The contribution of this work relates to the development of auxiliary tools to support decision-making, especially in the context of urban zoning within the Brazilian reality.
