136: Simulation and Reality: Ai and Metaverse In Architecture

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the metaverse are radically transforming architecture, redefining design and communication beyond traditional methods. This scenario poses the challenge of training students with critical and creative skills. In 2024, an educational methodology was launched with architecture students to explore AI in design, allowing them to improve and personalize their proposals. By 2025, the methodology will be expanded, combining AI with the immersive experience of the metaverse to facilitate collaborative work and real-time feedback, promoting a dynamic space for the exchange of ideas. It is essential that teaching addresses the ethical and social implications of these technologies, fostering critical thinking to balance innovation with creative expression and architectural identity.
