390: Method For Immersive Reality Content Creation: Transforming 2d Art Into 3d Immersive Environments

This research investigated approaches for generating content for immersive interactive environments and caves, with a focus on creative expression and artistic interpretation. The primary findings demonstrated that transforming two-dimensional (2D) artworks into immersive three-dimensional (3D) experiences for education and creativity was both efficient and compelling. The results indicated that this method effectively generates 3D content from 2D sources by leveraging extended reality (XR) and immersive technologies, while also enhancing user perception in innovative ways. This created a new avenue for presenting contemporary virtual interpretations of traditional artwork. The methodology was evaluated with a student cohort during VR seminars from 2024 to 2025. The findings presented an effective strategy for creating immersive 3D art experiences in XR settings, enhancing spatial understanding and engagement with the art experience.
