80: Virtual Ergonomic Analysis of A Parametrically Modeled Public Bench

This study proposes the integration of different works developed at PGDesign of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, utilizing digital modeling and manufacturing techniques and the use of the ergonomic analysis software “Humano Ergonômico Interativo Paramétrico” (HERIP, Parametric, Interactive and Ergonômic Human), developed at the VID laboratory, which allows for ergonomic analyses using a Digital Human Model. It is proposed to use HERIP to perform the ergonomic analysis of a virtually modeled bench that can be used as parametrically modeled urban furniture, and subsequently make adjustments to its modeling according to the results obtained from the ergonomic analyses using a 95th percentile male model and a 5th percentile female model.
